Maclodio filati “FR Yarns Selection” is the solution to fulfill the most demanding fire prevention international standards requirements. According to Italian legislation the flame retardant classification of fabrics is divided into 5 Flame Retardant classes. Class 1 is conferred to fabrics with the best flame retarding ability, with LOI values going from 28 to 34. LOI index (Limiting Oxygen Index) represents the minimum concentration of oxygen in the air able to tolerate the material combustion. The higher the LOI index is, the higher the fabric Flame Retardant feature is.
